Photos from GM2 Tom Patterson GM2 Tom Patterson GM2 Patterson Pictures of possible Viet Cong spies on Point Kennedy Bulletin Board Point Kennedy at Cam Rhan Bay in Dry Dock LTJG Schmidt and Vietnamese advisor Point Kennedy was tied along side this Navy ship when she took a hit from a Recoilless Rifle.  GM2 Paterson was sitting on the Grenade Locker behind the wheel house when the Recoilless round went through the bulkhead. Kennedy crew and Patterson are lucky it was a DUD or they may be dead.
